Go behind the scenes at Haute Goat farm to SHMURGLE; alpacas, chickens, horses, and our Nigerian Dwarf Goats! An incredible opportunity to get up close and personal while learning some of the most interesting things about them. Experience the joy of connecting with the goats in a playground designed just for them. It’s Goat for your Soul!
The magic begins when you come down the driveway and catch your first glimpse of the breathtaking Northumberland Hills. Meet Haute Goat owners Shain and Debbie as they greet you with open arms and warm farm hospitality. You’ll discover their passion for their animals is infectious.
Gather just outside the house to hear how Haute Goat came to be, some history of the farm and an introduction to Jack and Teja – the friendly Livestock dogs. Then off you go to meet, shmurgle and learn about their wonderful alpacas, chickens, and horses. As we arrive at the goat pen, everyone joins in to say “Release the Goats!”. Nearly 25 adorable Dwarf Goats explode out of the pen and we take them for a walk around the Haute Goat fields.
The climax is when you join the goats in their playground with ample time to Shmurgle, enjoy and delight in these wondrous animals. Then relax and enjoy some samples of the most interesting goat cheeses in Canada, all while having the most incredible view of the Northumberland Hills as your backdrop.
Add a delicious farm lunch to your day out here!
