The Alpaca Knuffle Shuffle

Saturday, 18 May 2019 | 11:00 am

Haute Goat, 1166 5th line, Newtonville, ON L0A 1J0

Every Saturday at 2pm from February 16th – August 31st

If you’ve ever been intrigued by these remarkable animals, the Alpaca Knuffle Shuffle is a one of a kind opportunity to engage with them.  Often referred to as “Dolphins of the Pasture”, Alpacas have an incredible ability to bring balance and calm to us through the connection created on our hike through the fields in the beautiful rolling hills of Northumberland County.

What you can look forward to:

o    Approximately 1 hour of interaction with the animals.

o    You will meet each of our alpacas, hear about their personalities and choose which ‘alpaca partner’ you feel at home with.

o    Learn how to halter, groom, interact and lead your Alpaca.

o    Get some understanding of what makes these animals so unique.

o    Rediscover a connection with nature while hiking with your Alpaca through our fields.

o    At the end of the hike, there will be ample time to take photographs with all of the Alpacas.

o    You will be welcomed to relax following the hike with a glass of local apple cider and goat cheese samples.

COST: $49 + hst

Please note: We welcome people of all ages.  However only persons over the age of 12 will be allowed to lead the Alpacas to ensure the animal’s safety.
