The weekend may be the last-ever Turkey Days Festival, but for these four characters, that is just the beginning…
There are birds – Sarah is a turkey farmer, and there are bees – her mother Gail is a beekeeper. And then there are ‘the birds and the bees’. Twenty years after her divorce, is Gail ready ‘to get back on the horse’…so to speak. Earl, Gail’s divorced neighbour and tenant, has kept himself mightily busy with the ladies over the 20 years since his divorce. Sarah has left her loveless marriage and returns to the comfort of her mother’s home. But Gail, with concerns for her bees, has little comfort to offer. And then there is Ben, an athletic Masters student, studying Gail’s bees.
This witty script offers laugh out loud comedy and a huge heart.
