Goat Connections For People Crazy About Goats

There’s something about goats that seems to touch us in a very different way than other animals.  They look deep into your eyes – and if you let them, deep into your soul. Perhaps that’s because our relationship with goats is one of the most ancient of any.  And perhaps that’s why we connect with them so easily – because it’s historically familiar to us. They touch us and remind us of that relationship.

It’s fitting that the Latin word for goat is ‘caper’.  From which comes ‘capriole’ or joy, mischief, spinning, jumping and fun.  This is the essence of goat. But there is much more…

In this 1.5 hour workshop, we will start by giving you a basic understanding of goats, interesting facts, etc .  Going deeper, you will be invited to learn how to communicate and connect with our goats. We will spend time getting to know the individual goats, discover who you have an immediate connection to, why others choose to take their time getting to know you.  You will learn to recognize the body language of the goats and how to interpret it. As you go deeper, you will start to find revelations about yourself as well.

This experience is led by Debbie Nightingale, Co-Owner of Haute Goat Farm.  Debbie is an ex-pat from Toronto, who moved to the farm in 2007 and never looked back.  She brought home her first 4 Nigerian Dwarf Goats in 2009 and they have been teaching her ever since.

GOAT CONNECTIONS is a truly unique experience that is suitable for people of all ages.
