It's time to prep your summer garden!
Pre-order a rain barrel through the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA), and when you pick it up, shop for native species to plant in your garden. Choose from numerous varieties of native plants, shrubs, trees, and groundcovers to create your perfect garden oasis.
Do you think you could tell the difference between Queen Anne's Lace and Wild Parsnip? If you found a patch of Giant Hogweed, would you know where to report it? Learn this and much more during an informative and educational walk through the Millennium Conservation Area with GRCA's Watershed Biologist. Spaces are limited for these free walks at 9:30 & 10:30. Call to pre-register - 905.885.8173
All proceeds from rain barrels & native plants go towards the GRCA's programs and services. The deadline to order your rain barrel is May 15th 2020 via rainbarrel.ca/ganaraska
