So much to do in Port Hope!

Port Hope is host to a plethora of festivals and events year round. The new year starts off with the annual dining promotion, Delicious Dates. Spring brings maple syrup time followed by the crazy Float Your Fanny river race. Warmer weather brings garden tours, artisans & craft shows and a variety of unique local events. Canada Day celebrations include a parade, music and entertainment and fireworks. Enjoy fall at the historic Port Hope Fall Fair, annual salmon migration and the Historic House Tour. Christmas in Port Hope is a busy time of year with a festival of trees, lights in Memorial Park, a Candlelight Walk, and Santa Claus parade. Use the Calendar of Events to plan your next visit!

Canada 150 Port Hope

Port Hope’s annual Canada Day Parade will start at 11am, followed by celebrations at Memorial Park starting at 12pm.

Hosted by the Kinsmen Club of Port Hope, events will include a classic car & antique machinery show, refreshment gardens, kids’ activities, food booths, birthday cake and live entertainment, followed by fireworks at the east beach at 10:15pm.

FRIDAY, JUNE 30: Beginning at dusk is Family Movie Night: "A Dog's Purpose" showing in Memorial Park. Sponsored by Lauria Hyundai.

SATURDAY, JULY 1: 

9am -3pm: Custom & Antique Car Show. At the Town Hall parking lot and at Rotary Park.

9:30am - 10:30am: Stretch Out With Spraoi Yoga *FREE. In Memorial Park.

11:00 am: Canada Day Parade! Starts at Bramley and Ridout Streets, goes down Walton Street and finishes at Memorial Park.

NOON: Refreshment Garden opens in Memorial Park.

12 - 4pm: Tractor Show and Face Painting.

ENTERTAINMENT JULY 1 in Memorial Park:

12 - 2pm: Joe Harvey   /   2-4pm: Storm The Palace   /   4-6pm: Marty & the Mojo's   /   6-8pm: Greatest of Ease (Stacey Doherty)

8-10pm: Tight Quarters

10:15pm: Family FIREWORKS at the East Beach! Sponsored by the Municipality of Port Hope.

SUNDAY, JULY 2: Canada Day Demolition Derby at the Port Hope Town Park. Gates open at Noon. Derby starts at 2pm. $7 per person. Under 12 FREE. Presented by the Port Hope Agricultural Society.
